How to switch from Metamask to @rainbowdotme 🌈?
Switching from MetaMask to Rainbow is actually one of the best moves I think I have made in crypto.
Why Switch to Rainbow?
MetaMask is solid but Rainbow gives a smoother experience.
If you want to still keep MetaMask intact nothing disappears but Rainbow becomes your main wallet.
For anyone who trades on DeFi, swaps $ETH or other tokens Rainbow makes everything faster and cleaner.
I want to break it down in points so it's super easy to understand, even if you are new to wallets.
1️⃣Download Rainbow
Web Extension: Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox etc.
Mobile App: App Store or Play Store.
Works for both iOS and Android.
2️⃣ Import into Rainbow (Web)
-Open Rainbow extension & click import or connect a wallet.
-Choose import with Secret Recovery Phrase or Private Key.
-Paste your secret phrase and click import wallet group.
-All wallets show up even if some addresses don't appear immediately, they will sync, then click on Add Wallet.
-Set a password for your browser wallet.
-And that's it!
Your Rainbow wallet is now ready you can see all your tokens, NFTs, transaction history and more in one place.
-On desktop, open the extension instantly using Option‑Shift‑R for macOS or Alt‑Shift‑R for Windows.
3️⃣ Import into Rainbow (Mobile)
-Open Rainbow App after downloading then select I already have a wallet.
-Click Import a Secret Phrase or Private Key.
-Paste your secret phrase then continue then import wallet.
-You can add it to cloud backup for extra security.
Boom all your tokens, NFTs, and history are now in Rainbow.
