Dogelon Mars (ELON) is a meme coin built on the Ethereum blockchain and uses the ERC-20 token standard. The coin, based on Tesla founder Elon Musk was launched on April 2021, with a total supply of 1 quadrillion ELON tokens.
Dogelon Mars tokens do not have a specific use case within its ecosystem. However, its founder has pledged to send tokens over to victims of crypto scams. The project has also launched its comic series on OpenSea, describing the adventures of its titular character, Dogelon Mars. Additionally, Dogelon Mars was created with the vision of becoming an "intergalactic currency."
Dogelon Mars has a significantly growing community and has been active in charitable efforts with the Methuselah Foundation, a biomedical charity whose mission is to extend the healthy human lifespan, controlling 43% of all Dogelon Mars tokens.
